It's not a soft drink: John Lemon Hard Lemonade

Ok, so it’s not a beer. But it is from the legends at Fuzzy Logic, and it definitely gets me tipsy, so I’m reviewing it anyway. Maybe I’m trying to prove I’m not a complete craft-beer snob… or maybe I’m just the kind of lush who’ll drink anything wet. Honestly, I’m still figuring that out.

First Taste

Beer or no beer, this stuff is straight-up delicious. Bright, clean lemonade flavour with a sweetness that doesn’t punch you in the teeth. And the alcohol? Completely invisible. Which is exactly what you want from a hard lemonade, something refreshing, fun, and dangerously easy to drink. Perfect if you’re not a beer lover but still want something that’ll do the job.

The Second Sip

Trời ơi… it’s my second glass, not my second sip. This disappears fast. On a hot Saigon day, it goes down quicker than I can type, and by the time I got here I already had to top myself up. The nice surprise is that even on round two, it’s not giving me that sickly, syrupy feeling you get from something like Sprite. It stays refreshing instead of turning into liquid candy.

Final Thought

Super drinkable. Not my usual cup of tea, I’m a beer guy at heart, but it absolutely has its place. Especially when the heat is melting your will to live and you want something cold, sweet, and effortless.
